sports-based youth development programs, especially for disadvantaged youth.

Up2Us, in partnership with the SOS Outreach and SnowSports Industry America (SIA), will host a free regional conference in Denver on Friday, January 29th, 2010. This conference will unite professionals in the field of sports-based youth development for a half day featuring keynote speakers, breakout training workshops, networking opportunities, and a funders resource panel. Among others, anticipated workshop topics include:

    •    Building the Workforce for Sports Programs
    •    Maximizing Local Resources
    •    Foundational Sports-Based Youth Development Principles
